Rodgers Voted Best in NFL
GREEN BAY, Wis. - Journalists who cover the National Football League said that Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was the most valuable player during the 2011 season.
As we step closer to the 2012 campaign, Rodgers' fellow NFL players have given him a similar honor.
They voted him the NFL's best player in the NFL Network's "Top 100 Players of 2012."
"Obviously, this is an award, a recognition that doesn't get done without an incredible group of people around you," Rodgers told the NFL Network.
"That's often lost when the focus is on one individual. My teammates, my coaches, our tens of thousands of owners that we have in Green Bay and across the country, I've got to give them lots of thanks as well."
Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings, fullback John Kuhn, linebacker Clay Matthews, wide receiver Jordy Nelson and defensive back Charles Woodson also made the top 100.
