14-year-old boy flees Neenah police on motorcycle

At about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Neenah Police attempted a traffic stop on a motorcycle near Tullar Road and Breezewood Lane. The vehicle fled eastbound on Breezewood and entered the industrial area.

The motorcyclist drove through Southview Park and across lawns into an apartment complex near the southwest corner of Commercial and Bell streets.

As the motorcycle was circling the complex, it collided with a marked squad. The operator was then apprehended.

Gold Cross ambulance responded and transported the motorcyclist to Thedacare Regional Medical Center – Neenah. He was identified as a 14-year-old Neenah area boy. The juvenile, who had been wearing a helmet, suffered minor injuries and was released to the custody of a parent.

At the request of Neenah Police, the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office responded to investigate the collision.

The motorcyclist will be referred to Winnebago County Juvenile Intake for eluding.
