Steinway & a Sandwich with Daniel Kuzuhara
Daniel Kuzuhara is a third-year undergraduate studying piano performance with a pedagogy emphasis at Lawrence University Conservatory of Music. Daniel started playing the piano in 1997, and studied with an educator from the Madison Area Piano Teachers’ Association. Daniel now studies under Anthony Padilla, associate professor at Lawrence. Throughout Daniel’s musical career, he has had many noteworthy honors, including top marks from the National Federation of Music Clubs Festival and the Wisconsin School of Music Association’s Solo and Ensemble festival. His most noteworthy achievements include winning the annual Middleton High School Concerto Competition in 2010, winning the 2011 Neale-Silva Competition and earning high marks from the Bruce P. Carlson Competition held by the Schubert Club. Daniel also teaches piano lessons outside of performing at Lawrence University.
