Teams of Silver Lake College students will be going door to door in the city of Manitowoc collecting much needed supplies for Hope House of Manitowoc County, a local homeless shelter. Hope House serves homeless families, couples without children, and single women in Manitowoc County. Learn more at www.HopeHouseMC.org or call 920-686-1436. Items requested include cleaning supplies, laundry and dish detergent, tall kitchen garbage bags, paper towels, toilet tissue, shampoo and conditioner, body wash/soap, and feminine hygiene products. Personal hygiene products should be new and unopened. Participating students will be carrying Silver Lake College student identification cards, and will show a signed letter from the program coordinator. If you would like to donate supplies but you do not receive a personal visit on Saturday from one of our student teams, you are welcome to drop off donations directly to Hope House at 1110 South 10th Street in Manitowoc.
