Description:

Celebration to include tours, food, workshops, hands-on activities, a 1972 time capsule opening, helicopter landing, petting zoo, entertainment and more! (GREEN BAY) - Join us at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College as we celebrate our centennial Saturday, September 29 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This free event will be held on the Green Bay Campus and is open to the public. In celebrating 100 years of great careers, the entire community is invited to join NWTC students and staff for campus tours, food and refreshments, hands-on demonstrations and exciting activities for all ages. Every department across campus is pulling out all the stops in offering simulations, mini-workshops, and how-to seminars. We’ll also be opening a recently discovered time capsule placed buried since 1972. The grand finale is a musical and comedy show by Frank Hermans of Let Me Be Frank Productions. There’s even a free lunch and ice cream sundae bar! Visit www.nwtc.edu/100years for a complete schedule of events.
