Public Shredding Event
Anyone with confidential information that needs to be securely destroyed can bring up to 3 boxes of documents per individual to a public shredding event to be held on Saturday, April 7, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Festival Foods parking lot, 2534 Steffens Court on Green Bay’s East Side. A donation of $5 per box is asked with all proceeds going to benefit Freedom House, Brown County’s only shelter serving all types of homeless families with children. The event is being done to promote privacy protection and is co-sponsored by Rep. Chad Weininger, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade & Consumer Protection, local recycler Fox River Fiber, and local document destruction company A.R.M.S. People with more than 3 boxes can take them to Fox River Fiber at 1751 W Matthew Drive in DePere for destruction in the company’s recycling process.
