  • Print
Description:

Join St. Norbert Associate Prof. Dr. Paul Johnson for this month’s Philosophers’ Café “The Morality (or Otherwise) of the Free Market” at 7 p.m. at St. Brendan’s Inn. Johnson will introduce two thinkers on the subject: Bernard de Mandeville and Adam Smith. This Café session will discuss the moral orientation of these two authors for the purpose of raising for ourselves anew the problems and prospects for free market economics in our own troubled day. This Café is presented in conjunction with St. Norbert College and through a grant from the Wisconsin Humanities Council.
