COMMUNITY CLOTHES CLOSET PEPSI REFRESH PROJECT PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Menasha, WI/November 3, 2011 The Community Clothes Closet has launched a campaign for votes to win a $50,000 grant from the Pepsi Refresh Project that will help fund a project room that will be used to educate children in manners and life skills, provide seminar space for adult programs, and supply over 1500 children with school supplies and new clothing each year through their Being Cool for School program. The public can vote for the idea once per day through the end of November at refresheverything.com. The Community Clothes Closet is striving to add a project room that will provide children in need in Northeast Wisconsin with supplies and education to better prepare them for the school year. Families in need that do not have to worry about paying for school supplies are able to spend their money on other important needs for their family. And educating and supplying children will get them off on the right foot once the school year starts. The Pepsi Refresh Project is awarding up to $1.125 million to fund ideas that refresh our communities. Help the Community Clothes Closet receive funding for its idea to refresh Northeast Wisconsin’s community. “Our aim is to help children get off to a great start because we know how important education is. Voting for our idea is a way to help children in Northeast Wisconsin and help our community by making it a great place for families,” says Diane Bishop, Executive Director of the Community Clothes Closet.
