This Halloween, trick-or-treaters can bring their extra candy to Dental Associates Appleton clinic at 4660 W. College Ave. and receive cash in exchange. Dental Associates will pay children $1 per pound, up to 5 lbs., for their unopened Halloween candy. Plus, each child will receive a new toothbrush and toothpaste. Dental Associates will host the Halloween candy back buy November 1–11, during normal business hours. The Dental Associates College Ave. clinic is open Monday–Thursday 7 a.m.–6 p.m.; Friday 7 a.m.–4 p.m.; and Saturday, Nov. 5, 7 a.m.–noon. All of the candy collected will be donated to Operation Gratitude to use in holiday care packages for troops stationed overseas. Last year, the Appleton clinic collected more than 200 lbs. of candy.
