There's a certain ring to our Packer news dujour.
Aaron Rodgers Day, Brandon Marshall had his say, and after a 4 game absence, the return of Clay.
If you'd permit, let's focus on the Marshall thing. In so many words, the Bears receiver said he didn't like what the Packers said after they beat the Bears earlier this season.
As a matter of fact, he said he didn't like the Packers period.
The Packers' response, pretty much no response. To their, and Mike McCarthy's credit, as a war of words is just not the Packers way.
Personal opinion, and while the media loves it, bulletin board material is way over-rated. It's hard to stay mad for 65 plays and besides, games boil down to execution, not anger.
You also have to consider the source of said bulletin board material. I guarantee you there's guys in the Bear locker room saying why doesn't Brandon keep his mouth shut. Why do anything that could potentially fuel the Packers 'D' with fire. What good does it do?
The true pros don't go up and down with what gets said by their opponents. They come to play every week.
