The Packers began their pre-Giants practice week today and the news du-jour was the presence of Greg Jennings.
He did some light drills, looked fine, says he's feels good, but Dr. Mike McCarthy still says him playing on Sunday night would be a quote, stretch. Charles Woodson and Clay Matthews, not even that close and they definitely won't play.
It's unfortunate they'll miss this game, because it is special, and not just because it's a match-up of division leaders.
This is a match-up between two of the franchises that the NFL was built on.
Both are steeped in tradition,
And both do things the right way, top to bottom, on the field and off. Not surprisingly, both also play real good football on a regular basis, and come Sunday night, the last two Super Bowl champions will be squaring off at Metlife Stadium.
The Green Bay Packers versus the New York football Giants. Has a certain ring to it, doesn't it.
