Injuries, Running Game on the Minds of the Packers
The Packers have three different issues on their collective plate this week.
The Packers have three different issues on their collective plate this week. One, of course, is all their injuries and all the usual suspects did "not" practice today so that kind of is what it is.
Another is the running game, as in running back. More carries have "not" translated into more yards for Alex Green, and while Mike McCarthy said he's still the guy on Monday, I'm getting the feeling James Starks may get a real crack opportunity-wise against Arizona. He's healthy, he's been productive in the past, and really, with the running game going nowhere, why not give him a shot. We'll see on Sunday.
He third issue, and probably the most important, the Arizona Cardinals. I know they've lost 4 straight and they looked lousy on Monday night, but they also have some real deal folks in their front seven that on the right day, can give any offense all it wants and then some.
