Banged Up Packers Ready for the Jags

  • Print

The Pre-Jacksonville practice week ends the way it started, with a banged up Packer football team. Greg Jennings, Nick Perry, Sam Shields and Charles Woodson won't play, and while that comes as no surprise, the fact that John Kuhn has also been ruled out, does.

As for Jordy Nelson, he's officially listed as questionable, but unofficially, let's call him "real questionable."

Situations like this can go two ways, as a built in excuse or as a rallying point. The Packers track record says it'll turn out to be the latter.

As for the 1 and 5 Jaguars, they're not a team of losers who are just stumbling around out there. They are team of eighty percenters. Personal opinion, but about eighty percent of the players in the NFL are about the same. Just solid pro football players, yours truly was nothing more than that, but it's the other twenty percent who change games. You know, the play-makers, and Jacksonville is sorely lacking in that area save Maurice Jones Drew and he's hurt.

As for the Packers, they still have Aaron Rodgers, Randall Cobb, James Jones, Clay Matthews and a rookie named Casey Hayward who has four interceptions in the last 3 games.

They may be banged up, but advantage Packers.
