You know you're talking about a future hall of famer when replacing him affects this many football lives.
We are talking about replacing Charles Woodson and odds are, it'll go something like this.
In base 3-4, MD Jennings gets the first at-bat at safety. When the Packers go to nickel, or 5 defensive backs, Casey Hayward takes Woodson's position in the slot, but since he's also the likely starter at right corner, Davon House moves in at that position.
In dime, or 6-d-b's, two slot men are required, one being the aforementioned Hayward, and as for the other, how bout Jerron McMillian. Remember back in training camp, when the Packers couldn't seem settle on a rotation in the secondary and kept rolling different folks in there. It would seem there was a method to the madness. Nothing is official on this, but let's call it a semi-educated guess.
We'll reconvene on Friday to talk the Jaguar game.
