Megan Lowry is an Emmy nominated journalist who joins NBC 26 as an anchor/reporter.
Working in Wisconsin is nothing new for Megan. She comes to Title Town from Eau Claire where she was an anchor/reporter.
Megan was born and raised in Burnsville Minnesota but spent most of her summers at her family's lake cabin across the border. So it made sense when she choose to attend college in Wisconsin. Megan graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a degree in Journalism and never looked back.
Megan has been recognized for excellence by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association for both investigative and feature reporting. Her most memorable 'TV' moment was going through police training with the Eau Claire Police Department. Just ask her how tactical training went. Megan has also worked in Bismarck, North Dakota and interned in Minneapolis.
If you wondering, yes, her time in Wisconsin did make her a Packers fan but you'll have to forgive her for being a loyal Minnesota Twins fan.
You can catch Megan anchoring the Live at 5 weekdays on NBC 26. But don’t be surprised if you also see her around town with a camera and tripod in tow – Megan will be reporting too.
When not at work Megan enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves spending time outdoors and at sporting events. If you see her don't be afraid to stop and say hi!
