Dan Koob
Dan Koob is a Sports Videojournalist for NBC 26, joining the pack in August 2012. He comes to Green Bay from KOLN/KGIN in Lincoln and Grand Island, Nebraska as a part of 10/11's award winning sports team. In addition to Dan's role as a sports anchor and reporter in Nebraska, he also co-anchored two nightly newscasts.
Dan is the proud recipient of a NATAS Mid Atlantic Emmy Award for general assignment reporting while at Temple University and was honored to anchor their Emmy Award winning newscast.
Dan is a 2011 Temple University graduate and native of Warrington, PA a suburb of Philadelphia.
He answers to any and all variations of his name, including Koobie- but not Daniel- which he finds too formal.
