To be honest, the Frozen Tundra is quite a departure from what I’m used to. I was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, went to journalism school at UNC Chapel Hill and spent several years in coastal North Carolina.

I worked as an anchor, producer, reporter and photographer at WCTI in New Bern, NC, and covered everything from military deployments to hurricanes. My training in journalism started with the UNC student news program Carolina Week. It was there I learned just how exciting and rewarding the news business can be.

When I’m not digging up a story or catching up on my sleep, I enjoy hanging out with friends, family and my little dog Shelby.

But enough about me, I used to think nothing could compare to Southern Hospitality. Then, I moved to the land of cheese and Packers and learned otherwise. The people are great, and I can’t wait to get to know y’all better... or should I say “you guys.”
