Cassandra Duvall
Cassandra Duvall is a Videojournalist joining NBC 26 in January 2012. She's originally from the small town of New Castle, Indiana. She graduated in December 2010 from Ball State University with a degree in Telecommunications/News and a minor in History.
While at Ball State, Cassandra took part in the Emmy-Award winning nightly newscast, NewsWatch/NewsLink Indiana, and interned at WRTV in Indianapolis during the summer of 2010. She was the 2009 winner of the Indiana Broadcasters Association Student of the Year. She also was a member of the Beneficence Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society, Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Societies.
Cassandra recently spent a year reporting at KRNV in Reno, NV, but is happy to be back in the Midwest.
During her days off, she volunteers with the American Cancer Society, and has been a volunteer with the Big Brothers, Big Sisters Program. She plays volleyball and tennis in her spare time, and like any girl, loves to shop.
