Max Grossfeld joined NBC26 in July 2017 as a Multimedia Journalist.
Max is originally from Baltimore, Maryland, but spent two years as an anchor and reporter at KFYR-TV in Bismarck, North Dakota.
Max's parents live in Baltimore and his brother is a SeaBee in the Navy, stationed in Gulfport, Mississippi.
Favorite thing about Northeast Wisconsin: After living on the prairie, it’s exciting to have huge bodies of water and trees again.
Favorite sports team: I’m Baltimore, through and through. I’m a Ravens, Orioles and Terps fan.
Favorite movie: Anchorman. Also, the Harry Potter series.
Favorite vacation spot: My family’s cabin in Romney, West Virginia.
Something most people don't know about me: I’m a referee. I’ve worked more than a half-dozen sports, but my favorite is wrestling.
A cause I'm passionate about: I’m very passionate about supporting families dealing with childhood cancer. From 2015-2017, I shaved my head annually in solidarity with the kids.
Best part about my job: I love being able to tell fascinating people’s stories.
