A body was found floating in the Fox River near the NewPage Hydro Facility in Kimberly.

A NewPage spokesperson says NewPage workers discovered the body while doing weekly maintenance checks.

Workers were cleaning debris from screens in the water that protect water turbines.

The case is being handled by the Appleton Police Department because they might have a lead on who the person is.

Detectives think it could be an Appleton man who was reported missing by his family last October.

At this time they are not releasing that missing man's name.

Police are waiting for autopsey restults to find out the identity of the body and how that person died.
