It was a crash scene one Brown County deputy says looked like something out of NASCAR.

On Tuesday morning, at least a dozen cars slammed into each other during a chain-reaction crash on highway 41 in Suamico near
Sunset Beach Road.  Ten people were hurt, but fortunately, according to the sheriff's department, the injuries were non-life threatening.  There were, however,  reports of broken bones.

Several cars and trucks were badly damaged and had to be removed from the icy, slick highway by tow truck.

The accident in the southbound lanes shut down that stretch of road for about two hours.  Cars were detoured around the crash scene.
Also, a school bus had to be called in to transport some crash victims who were not hurt, off the highway to a safe location.
