KAMPALA, Uganda (AP) - A Ugandan court has charged three men with terrorism and murder related to July 11 twin blasts that killed 76 people in the capital.
The three men, all residents of neighboring Kenya, appeared Friday in a Kampala courtroom and were charged with 89 offenses. Those include 3 counts of terrorism, 76 of murder and 10 of attempted murder.
The men did not speak during their court appearance. They will appear in court next month.
Police say 10 other suspects are still under investigation.
The al-Qaida-linked Somali militant group al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the July 11 bombings in two locations in Uganda's capital during the World Cup final.
Al-Shabab has vowed to attack Uganda and Burundi for sending troops to Somalia.
