One hunter in Shawano County was shot in the arm after being mistaken for a deer. It happened Saturday afternoon in Bartelme Township near River Road.
The Shawano County Sheriff's Department says one hunter thought he was shooting a deer, but instead shot another member of his hunting party.
The injured hunter was taken to a Wausau hospital.
