OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) - Actor Gary Sinise will be attending next year's EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh.
He will perform with his band the "Lt. Dan Band" at AirVenture's Theater in the Woods July 30.
Sinise played Vietnam veteran Lt. Dan Taylor in the film "Forrest Gump," stars on the TV series "CSI: New York."
It's Sinise's second EAA visit. He plays bass in the band, which first visited the event in 2008.
The concert is being sponsored by EAA Warbirds of America and the Disabled American Veterans. DAV National Commander Bobby Barrera says Sinise is a longtime advocate for the organization.
