An update to the flag controversy in Crivitz. NBC26 has learned that Vito Congine's liquor license appeal has been dismissed. A judge closed the case after learning that Congine lives in Illinois.

Congine had been flying his flag upside down in protest after his restaurant's liquor license was denied several times. He tells NBC26, he plans on filing another application using his sister's name as soon as he gets the money back from his old application.
