Pages upon pages of pro life advertising, 12 in all talking about abortion and it's side effects. The Advance Titan Newspaper choosing not to run the controversial ad. Mike Johnson a UW-Oshkosh student who's also adopted the issue hits close to home.
Johnson Said, "Someone made the choice to give me life which I think I have done well with. I think everyone should have that opportunity."
Freshman Megan Nichols wasn't aware of the controversy she thinks the ad should have run.
"for them not to put it in there...I think it's something that everyone needs to know." Added Nichols
Staff members from the paper say they're surprised that people are upset.
Kasey Thompson the Titan's editor said, "We've said no to ads before. I thought it was just going to blow over to be quite honest."
Still some students say everyone has a right to be heard. Freshman Sam Schabel added, "I just think it's stupid that they won't allow ads that are prolife but they'll allow pro choice ads and everything else."
It is a hot debate not going away anytime soon.
