On Monday, fans of the WWE got up close and personal with wrestlers and "the Donald." Donald Trump, for one night, was the symbolic owner of "Monday Night Raw." The show aired live from the Resch Center in Green Bay.
It was part of a ratings stunt to drum up business and viewers for the weekly wrestling show that airs on Mondays. The broadcast aired commercial free on USA. Donald Trump also hosted a press conference- choreographed to perfection- to make an announcement that all of the tickets would be refunded for Monday's event. "I wanted to but the ‘Green' back in Green Bay," said Trump at press conference at Austin Straubel Airport. The event was sold out, and more than 7,000 people got refunds. Trump footed the more than $200,000 bill.
