St. Norbert College and Ripon College both have confirmed cases of the H1N1 virus among student. Gerald Seawald, the Vice President at Ripon College, says they were informed by the Fond Du Lac County Health Department that one student has the flu. The student has been isolated and will be for seven days. The confirmed students roommate is also in isolation because he or she is showing flu-like symptoms.
In a letter posted on St. Norbert College's website, the school confirms that two students have the H1N1 virus there. The letter states "The two individuals have not been on campus since they were tested earlier this week. Close contacts of the confirmed cases have been contacted."
